Bob LaPorta / Owner-Trainer
Multiple NRHA World Champion, Bob LaPorta, is ranked in NRHA’s all-time leading lifetime money earners, with earnings in excess of $191,000. His accomplishments include World Championships in the years 1992,1993, 1996, and 1997 and Year-End Top Ten standings in the years 1994, 1995, 1998, and 1999 and 2005. Bob has been a finalsit in every major NRHA event including the NRHA Derby, the Lazy E Classic, The Tradition Futurity (Champion), the Carolina Classic Derby, AQHA Congress Intermediate Open Futurity, etc. Bob is dedicated to the sport of Reining. He has been an NRHA judge since 1992, judging major horse shows in the United States, Italy, Spain, and Germany. He has been on the NRHA Board from 1996 to 2003 and an elected NRHA Board member from 1998 to 2003. While on the Board, he has chaired or been a member of numerous committtees, including Affiliates, Non Pro, Eligibility, professionals,and Judges committees. Bob currently serves as vice-president of Eastern Pa. Reining Horse Association (EPRHA).
Debby LaPorta / Owner
Debby LaPorta was the 1991 NRHA Limited Non Pro World Champion as well as the 1991 AQHA Congress Amateur Reining Champion. With earnings in excess of $55,000, Debby has had numerous NRHA Top Ten finishes, as well as numerous Bronze Trophy wins. She is also a four-time Carolina Classic Non Pro Derby finalist. In 2003, aboard “The Money Train”, Debby captured both the Non Pro and the Limited Non Pro divisions of the NERHA Derby. In 2004 she finished in the Top Ten standings of the NRHA Novice Horse Non Pro division. In 2008 Debby is the NRHA World Champion riding Time Square in the Prime-Time Non Pro Division as well as a 6th place (top ten) finish in the Intermediate Non Pro Division.
Tricia Tillman / Assistant Trainer
Tricia Tillman started riding with Bob and Deb LaPorta at the age of 4 yrs old and has just moved thru the ranks of the youth and non pro divisions having top ten world titles under Bob’s rein. Tricia has grown up in this sport and has grown to thrive in this industry longing for more and just wanting to step into the next phase of this industry training horses under her mentor Bob LaPorta. Tricia has started this 2016 show season out very successfully. We welcome Tricia to the professional ranks with open arms she is an extremely talented rider, with lots to offer the industry.
